    New Features
    • Sign In With Your Phone's Own Browser — Tapping "Sign In with HuddleBoard Sports" now opens a secure system browser window instead of a form drawn inside the app, so saved passwords, iCloud Keychain, Google Password Manager and autofill all work the way they do everywhere else on your phone. When you finish signing in, the window closes on its own and the app is already logged in.
    • Sign Up Directly From the App — New parents and coaches can create an account in the sign-in window and land straight back in the app. Coaches still see the pending-approval message while their athletic director reviews them.
    • Registration Fees On Mobile — Tapping the "registration fee due" tile on a parent's home screen now opens a dedicated mobile screen: one card per child, the full fee breakdown, and a Pay Now button that hands off to secure checkout and returns you to the same screen. Previously this dropped parents onto the desktop My Child page.
    • Network Help For Restricted School WiFi — Some school and district WiFi inspects secure traffic, which made sign-in report "incorrect password" when the password was fine. The app now recognises a blocked connection and says so, and a new Network Help page gives your IT team the exact information — including the domains to allow.
    • "Finish Setting Up Your School" Checklist — Athletic directors now see a setup checklist on their home screen — sports, teams, coaches, athletes, open registration — each item linking straight to the right screen and ticking itself off. It disappears when you're done.
    • Confirmation Reminders & Welcome Email — People who sign up but never confirm their email get a friendly follow-up after 24 hours and again after 72 hours, with a one-tap link that confirms them and signs them in. New athletic directors also receive a welcome email with first-steps tips and how to open a support ticket.
    Improvements
    • Safer Face ID and Touch ID — Biometric unlock no longer keeps your password on the device — it stores a revocable sign-in token instead, unlocked by your face or fingerprint. Unlock also recovers gracefully if you're still signed in.
    • Honest Subscription Checks — The app no longer guesses when it can't reach us and wrongly tells paying schools the mobile app isn't part of their plan. It waits for a real answer, and shows a clear "Couldn't confirm your school's subscription" screen with a retry button when the connection is at fault — never a wrong verdict, and never an endless loading spinner.
    • Clearer Payout Setup — Setting up payment collection now detects an unusable payout account and creates a fresh one automatically, and reports exactly what is still needed instead of a generic error. If online payments aren't available, parents see a plain explanation instead of a technical error.
    • Accurate Payment Records — A fee payment record is only saved once payment is actually accepted, and abandoned checkouts are now tracked as such.
    • Clearer Plan Limits — Features your plan doesn't include now appear under "Available on a paid plan" with a padlock and an upgrade link, instead of quietly disappearing from the menu.
    • Sporty AI Brought Up To Date — Sporty AI, the in-app assistant, now knows everything shipped since the spring, including the correct path for school-year setup (Registration Dashboard → Registration Setup).
    • Ongoing Privacy Hardening — Billing identifiers and other sensitive fields are now readable only by the staff who need them.
    Bug Fixes
    • Discounted Checkout Fixed — Fixed checkout failing for athletes with an approved discount — percentage and fixed-amount discounts now apply correctly.
    • Correct Eligibility State — Fixed eligibility state showing Georgia for every school regardless of where the school actually is.
    • Mobile Polish — The iOS welcome screen is properly centred, the system sign-in prompt now says "HuddleBoard Sports" instead of "App", closing the sign-in window on Android no longer leaves the button stuck, and the iOS white-screen-on-launch issue is resolved. Also updated the underlying mobile platform (Capacitor 8.5.1) with a cleanup of Android build warnings.
